Stories
Sisters, in their own words.
Not outcomes or promises — just honest stories from Black women finding clarity, confidence, and community.
“At 47 I thought I was failing at being a mother, a wife, and a partner at my firm. Beloluna gave me the words for perimenopause and a plan I could actually use. I'm still me — just finally seen.”
The year my cycle started changing, I also started crying on the way to work. I thought I was depressed. I wasn't. I was in late perimenopause — and no one at my annual physical had ever asked me about it.
A friend sent me Beloluna. The assessment took five minutes. The stage summary sat me down and then sat with me. My plan began with sleep, because that's where my body was asking for help first.
Three months in, I'm sleeping through the night most weeks. I got HRT after walking into my gynecologist's office with a printed summary. And I stopped feeling like I was losing myself.
